What a gorgeous day we had today!!!!! The sun was out & the temperature hit in the low 70’s. TIME TO WALK!  Yup! the kids too! Mags & I had some very handsome escorts around our section (4 miles).

I’m so thankful for these days.  For the sunshine, for my health, for my kids’ health.  What a blessing each day is.  I try so hard not to take any day for granted.

Charlie is a little unhappy in this picture.  He fell into the water and got his shoes wet.  But I just had to remind him to be thankful he has legs that work and that he is able to climb around on the bank.  Oh the struggles some kiddos have with poor health.  He perked right up.  It’s so easy to get impatient with a kid who is crying because they are wet & still have 3 miles to go to home…there again…I am thankful I had the patience to remind him of his blessings rather than getting frustrated with his crying.  We all need a little reminder to be thankful sometimes.

Just about done a mile here.  I had to laugh…Jack is in the ranger.  Him & Cole are taking turns in case anyone gets tired.  He kept on skidding & stopping to look back to see his tracks.  Boys will be boys.image

So wonderful to get these boys involved in getting into shape & being healthy.  They had a blast too.  It certainly gives me a little one on one time with each of them as they each take turns slowing down during the walk.  Love getting to hear what the day was like at school for each of them individually.  Otherwise they either try to all talk over each other or they all follow suit and say “good”, “no we didn’t learn anything new at school”.  So very thankful for the individual relationship I have with each one of these young boys.
